Formative e-Assessment

The first thing we ask our workshop participants is to contribute a case study. Not surprisingly, many hesitate at this point. First, they’re not sure what we expect. Then, they don’t know how their case study will be appreciated. Finally (or perhaps this should be first) – we are all very busy people. Its hard enough to slip away from work for a workshop, but who has the time to write a well-documented, well-articulated, validated piece of research?

Relax.

All we really want is a good short story about how you used, or try to use, formative e-assessment in your practice.

What do we mean by short? As long as you can handle without disrupting your life. As long as you can afford. Its better to have half a page then nothing at all. Just go to the Case Studies section and start something. Remember, you’re among friends, and you can always fix it later.

What do we mean by formative e-Assessment? ah. come to the workshop and find out. But at this stage, to start off our conversation, what counts is what you mean by formative e-Assessment.
